Photographed by Ray Maloles

(Faded denim top, Metro Park mini, Steve Madden troopa boots, orange headband, teal bead necklace, Ralph Lauren sunglasses)

Bringing back the 70's with this faded tie dye cropped button down shirt and my Ralph Lauren sunglasses. Made by Ellison Ellison Ellison, this item is another favorite from Cinema. A hip denim look with a modern twist. Definitely a good addition to the fall wardrobe. To complete this look, add on a pair of booties, a mini, a retro-style headband, and Ruby Woo red lipstick.

Pretty in Punk

Hey everyone! It's Cc (Cecilia Lee) here. Usually, I'll be maintaining our sites and modeling, but today I'm trying my hand at fashion blogging. I've been learning a lot from the main stylist, Miss Joan Hwang, and her creativity has inspired me to become a stylist in-the-making. So here it goes...
(Forever 21 floral mini dress and stockings, Steve Madden Troopa Boots, Vintage Leather Latch Handbag)

Little Girl Big World is pretty in punk today. Downtown LA Arts District was our destination, and I was inspired to put together an outfit that mixed nerdy with punk couture. I wore a Forever 21 floral mini dress exposing a sexy open back held together by elastic bands. I paired it with gray square-patterned stockings, my favorite Steve Madden Troopa Boots, a vintage leather latch handbag, and big black spectacles :) The colors and prints for this look are bold, sophisticated, and girly all at the same time.

Special thanks to photographer: Steven Lam and Du Some Productions

My Love for Cinema

(Distressed denim cut offs, cropped chiffon button down shirt, Steve Madden lace up boots, Ralph Lauren sunglasses, pearl/ribbon necklace, Ruby Woo lipstick)

I found this cropped chiffon button down shirt from a wonderful store called Cinema. It is located on 9th street right by Santee. I come here every week for a number of reasons. For one, it is in the heart of the Fashion District so if you're looking for up and coming trendy hipster fashion, this is the place to go to. Secondly, it carries an amazing variety of printed rompers, casual tees, funky leggings to an assortment of Jeffrey Campbells. They've got it all.

Summer doesn't have to only mean gladiator sandals and tanks. Mix and match your boots, shorts, and long sleeves. Chiffon is perfect for the summer because it is cool and light weight.

The Bridge

(DKNY baby pink sweater shawl, over the knee high black stockings, distressed denim shorts, Aldo black suede wedges, white tank)

Another one of those days where I was going through my closet, scrambling for an outfit. Since the weather was surprisingly cool, I decided to go with my light pink DKNY sweater shawl. This is one of my favorite sweaters. It's cool, lightweight and looks very flattering when worn with denim shorts. And the over the knee high black stockings! Another favorite summer accessory! It looks more interesting than a regular pair of hoisery. A blend of pink, white, and denim make for a summer color ensemble. I found the bird ring at a local jewelry boutique located on Santee Street. They carry an array of jewelry so I like to pop in every now and then and check for new merchandise.

Glam Gold Vintage & Red Lipstick

(Vintage gold top, black tights, Aldo black wedges, "love" ring, lipstick necklace)

Makeup Artist: Damaris Santana
Photographer: Teresa Leoung

Vintage is the theme. Walking through the streets of 9th and Santee Street, the vintage pieces have really caught my eye. I love the mix of the 70's gold sequin top and the red lipstick. A fun and interesting way to wear gold in the summer.

Found at a local thrift store. A great place to find hidden vintage treasure.

Discovering the World of Vintage

Hair, Makeup and Photographed by Damaris Santana

I decided to be in this photoshoot because Damaris was kind enough to come over and do my hair and makeup. I jumped at the chance since she is amazing at what she does! For the photoshoot, I wore a velvet burnout jacket with fringes. I paired the burnout with a black lace body suit from American Apparel, Forever 21 stockings, Jeffrey Campbell lace up wedges, and my favorite zipper detailed purse. I found this velvet burnout when shopping in Downtown with a friend and that was the day, I discovered the amazing world of vintage!

I love the versatility of the burnout jacket! It goes well with everything. And the details of this European-inspired piece creates a one of a kind look. Definitely a Little Girl Big World favorite.

A Day in Mission Street

(black maxi skirt, open back racerback tank, Roxy fedora hat, silver bangles, vintage necklace)

Mission Street in Pasadena is one of my favorite local spots. Since I love the indie-bohemian feel of this area, I had Jess wear a black jersey maxi skirt and my favorite racerback tank. It opens in the back, which is great for this summer heat. To add some length to Jess' petite frame, the maxi paired with wedge sandals is perfect for adding some height.
